The idea was born during an important transition for our Bistromax team: several long-standing chefs were about to retire. Over many years, they had built up a valuable treasure of practical knowledge—captured in tried-and-true recipes, personal cooking techniques, and all the little details that make the bistro so special.

Instead of letting this knowledge be lost, we saw the opportunity to preserve it, pass it on to the next generation, and at the same time honor the chefs for their exceptional dedication and long-standing commitment.

The B&I team developed this initial idea into a compelling concept: a professionally designed recipe book that celebrates Bistromax's culinary tradition, promotes knowledge transfer to future teams, and at the same time makes a valuable social contribution.
